You may use PlateBeacon only for lawful purposes. You must be at least 13 years old. You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access other users’ data. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

PlateBeacon provides nutrition and wellness information for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Food recognition and nutrition estimates are approximations based on visual analysis and food databases. PlateBeacon does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See our Nutrition Disclaimer for full details.

PlateBeacon uses AI to recognize food and estimate nutrition. AI output is approximate and may contain errors. You can review and correct any result, and the Service will never silently change records you have confirmed. See our AI Disclosure for full details.

The Service, its software, design, and branding are owned by PlateBeacon. You retain ownership of your meal data and photos. By submitting content, you grant PlateBeacon a limited license to process it solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlateBeacon shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nutrition information is educational and approximate; PlateBeacon is not liable for health outcomes from reliance on its estimates.

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
